DAY ONE-TWO
We arrived in Jamaica for our WEDDING!!!💍 We were beyond excited to finally be at such a beautiful resort. The first few days were pure bliss—drinking on the beach, hopping over to the pool, back to the ocean, and then repeating the cycle all over again. It was the perfect way to kick off our wedding week in paradise! The hotel grounds were absolutely beautiful! Walking around the resort felt like stepping into a Pirates of the Caribbean movie—with all the lush greenery, sparkling blue water, and, of course, plenty of rum. 🏝️🍹
Our favorite restaurant Bella Vista was right on the water! It offers a more romantic, candlelight ambiance at night.
This resort was absolutely stunning, though just a heads-up—there are lots of steps throughout the property. Worth it for the views, but good to know if mobility is a concern!

DAY THREE
The day before saying “I do”! 💍 Once again, we spent the day relaxing, soaking up every bit of sunshine. That evening, our friends and family treated us with a private sunset cruise (booked through the hotel), and wow—did we enjoy it! The cruise offered charcuterie and champagne as we cruised around for a few hours, we swam, and then ended by watching the sky turn all shades of pink and gold. To top it off, they dropped us off right at our dinner table at Bella Vista. Talk about a perfect night! 🌅✨
DAY FOUR
We woke up like Ross from Friends: “I’M GETTING MARRIED TODAY!” 😆 The hotel took care of every single detail for our wedding day—we just had to pick a flower color and a few wedding songs. Easy enough!
Our private beach ceremony was an absolute dream and the perfect start to our forever love story. 💕 After the ceremony, the hotel set us up in a private gazebo atop the cliff overlooking the ocean for a candlelight four-course dinner just for the two of us. It was truly the best day ever! 🌊✨
DAY FIVE
We had met some really cool people during the first few days of our trip—regulars at Couples Sans Souci, some who had visited over 20 times and knew all the staff by name. They also introduced us to a local named Keith, who offers river raft trips for $100 cash per person. We couldn’t resist this off-the-beaten-path excursion, so we said yes—totally unsure what to expect! The excursion was a private river raft trip up the river to a local hangout spot. There was a fun tire swing, plenty of swimming holes, and a buffet featuring incredible Jamaican fare. 🌊🍽️
The river raft ride was both relaxing and fun, and the meal Keith prepared afterward was phenomenal. I think I ate about six lobsters… tehehe! 🦞 We also took full advantage of the tire swing, jumping into the beautiful river over and over. It was such a unique, unforgettable day! 🌊
Side note: there are kitties EVERYWHERE in Jamaica 😻🐾
DAY SIX
Time to go home! Couples San Souci offers included round-trip airport transportation, so they arranged everything.
✈️ While researching where to get married, we joined a Facebook group for Couples Sans Souci and saw posts about a VIP experience at the airport called Club MoBay—a special lounge—and it was TOTALLY worth it. We got to the airport three hours early and hung out in the lounge, enjoying a buffet and unlimited cocktails. Naturally, we had a few more rum punches before it was time to say farewell to paradise! 🍹🌴
